(d) New forms of media publishing

New forms of media publising involve publishing on the World Wide Web via e-magazines and blogs, according to Koval (2005). For example, the Seventeen Magazine is published by Blu Inc. Corporation, and it also has online publication to cater to the needs of their targeted audience who are teenagers. Hence, this type of publication is able to reach to a wider scope of audience , throughout the world.

Besides that, there are a few things to consider when publishing via the new forms of media , according to Walsh (2006) internet sites usually combines images with complex configurations such as logos, menu, hyperlinks, video clips, music and sound effects. Therefore, this will affect the reader's pathway in which it is no longer one way, but multi-linear, as stated by Lemke ( cited in Walsh 2006).
